I discovered this dessert recipe during the lockdown and it very quickly became one of my favorites. Because it’s made from ingredients easily available at home. Plus the extra ripe bananas at home, waiting for you to eat them are not going to get wasted because this recipe needs extra ripe bananas. Please keep reading to know how to make it.

Preparation time: 2 hours

Servings: 6

Ingredients

2 sliced extra ripe bananas

3/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup oil

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp vinegar

1-1/2 cup flour

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1/2 cup water

1/4 cup chopped dry fruits

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

Blend sliced bananas and sugar in a blender.

Pour out the mixture in a bowl and start whisking in the oil, vinegar, and vanilla extract.

In another bowl, sieve the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

Mix both dry and wet batters and add water. Combine well.

Add the chopped dry fruits and combine.

Line the baking vessel with butter paper and empty the batter in it.

Preheat the oven and bake at 180°c for 40 mins.

Let it cool, slice, and enjoy!

This is one of the best recipes to replace non-vegan slice cakes and banana bread loaves.
