Cheese spread is what I miss the most when having nachos or making a sandwich. I learnt to make a better version of cream cheese from a friend in Goa. This recipe needs just five simple plant-based ingredients. Trust me, it’s finger-licking good.
Here you go!
Ingredients:
- Half cup of cashews
- 1 big yellow/red bell pepper
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- Salt as per your taste
- Pepper powder as per your taste
Preparation:
Soak the cashews overnight or for 4-5 hours.
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a blender. Taste and adjust the salt, pepper, and lemon juice accordingly.
You can use this as a dip or as a spread. You can store it for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
